Last week’s March for Life combined with the imminent confirmation of Samuel Alito for the Supreme Court has given the pro-life movement some momentum.
At last week’s March for Life, the different starting point for this year’s annual March for Life did not go unnoticed by some of the speakers at the annual rally who compared the closer location to the U.S. Capitol to the progress made by the pro-life movement. “We’re seven blocks closer” and “getting closer to the end” of legalized abortion, said a speaker giving the opening prayer at the hour-and-a-half rally Jan. 23 on the grounds of the National Mall several blocks from the front of the Capitol building.
